SINGER/SONGWRITER

Lorraine Minôt-Howe is a London based singer/songwriter, originally from the West Midlands. Known for singing from the heart, Lorraine is described as having a unique sound and vocal tone. Over time Lorraine’s voice has been said to move the listener. She exudes a passion for giving life and meaning to the songs she sings; bringing a fresh vocal interpretation and style.

Whilst a soloist in her own right, Lorraine has sung and collaborated with various artists over the years. Previously featuring on recording projects with West Midlands guitar legend sensation, the late Ronnie Lyseight; and later working with local West Midlands guitarist Anthony Williams.

Lorraine started out as a lead vocalist in the church gospel choir. This led to her becoming a lead vocalist with former London gospel choir, The Angelical Voice Choir when she came to London, accompanying American artist Tramaine Hawkins on gospel TV show People Get Ready.

As a former member of The BIG Sing Gospel Voices, led by Jonathan Rattenbury, Lorraine featured as a lead vocalist. She previously featured as a lead vocalist with IDMC on their first album, led by John Fisher BEM. Also singing as a backing vocalist for American artist, Keith Staten whilst in the UK.

With a love of diverse music influenced by gospel and other genres, Lorraine has been exploring new styles. This has led to Lorraine recording cover songs and sharing them on Soundcloud and YouTube.

Lorraine’s hope is to ‘inspire, encourage and uplift the listener’ when she sings. She hopes to share more music in time to come.
